Weekends should be every day

So with a weight off our shoulders with NB's job offer on Friday afternoon, we had a nice, relaxing, enjoyable weekend.

We went and saw this, which was good. Sange got me onto Mike Leigh films and I have liked them all so far.

Saturday was spent perusing the shops in Richmond. NB looked at Wii games and I finally managed to buy an engagement card. NB has decided on holding off buying the Wii until we move into our new house.

We went to the War Cabinet Rooms and Churchill Museum on Sunday with HB. It was a very interactive museum and really interesting. It's just near St James' Park, which is my most favourite place in London. Afterwards, I took NB out for dinner to celebrate his new job. I'd recommend the passionfruit martini! *

NB starts the new job tomorrow. No chance for Monday-itis then. He opted not to start today as we had an appointment with the estate agent to sign the leases and - I got to look inside! NB did a good job picking this place, I liked it. The kitchen looked like something out of Willy Wonka, but you will have to visit to find out what I mean by that.
