A weekend in London

Just to set the record straight, the weekend wasn't spent just watching telly.

We did lots of stuff.

We went here which is located here. It was good. We overheard a conversation between a gentleman and his 5 year old daughter.

"Now it says here that this artist painted this man's portrait several times throughout his lifetime and based on the way he is dressed, I think they got up to a bit more than painting"

"What else did they do Daddy?"

"Erm, I think that is a conversation for when you are older."

We had lunch in the gallery's self-service cafe where NB engaged in conversation with an old biddy in the queue. They both agreed that the system in place for serving people was just not right.

We also went here. It wasn't great. Filled with the kinds of Australians I don't like. That's right - wankers. It got an excellent write up in here. It shouldn't have.

We also went for a walk around the area we stayed when we holidayed here in 2006. Heaps of lovely little shops have sprung up. I found another shop to love, to add to my other favourite shop. They had a beautiful selection of these, which I am going to get myself as a housewarming present. I just have to decide which colour I like.

I also continued my quest to find a nice engagement card. I will not be beaten.
