What's going down in Funky Town

Hiya. Everyone says that over here. It bugs the hell out of me.

Just a quick update on what's going down in funky town.

- Settled into new digs. Toilet leaks, landlord came over immediately to fix it. Nice! It's a massive room with an ensuite attached.

- NB went to the bank to get a bank cheque to pay rent. The cheque will be ready tomorrow. They don't do it on the spot. What the?

- Both now sound like locals as we have the same hacking cough as everyone else.

- Heading out to a very nice restaurant for NB's birthday on Friday that was recommended to us. Sounds very similar to Rockpool back home, which we loved. Would give both places a wide berth if you are vegetarian though.

- Then off to Banbury for the weekend, to stay with some friends.

- Checked out one of our many local gyms tonight, so will be giving that a crack next week. Will probably need to, because this weekend sounds like it is going to be one of those ones where you vow never to touch alcohol again and you promise to treat your body like a temple from now on.

As opposed to treating it like a cheap whorehouse with an off-licence attached.
