Hey folks.
Internet at home is on the blink again, so back at the dodgy internet cafe.
Had a great birthday yesterday. NB spoiled me rotten.
Started off at the pub (always a good start) for some dutch courage as we were going on London Eye. I crapped myself, to put it lightly. It was just too high for me and the views were making me sick so I sat there and studied my map book intently so I couldn't see outside. NB loved it and took heaps of photos. I will upload them soon. Even the photos make me sick.
We then made our way to Leicester Square, as we had tickets to see Avenue Q. A fantastic show, we really liked it. Really recommend it, it was pretty funny.
Afterwards we went for a curry and a pint down Brick Lane. It was great walking along there, because each restaurant has a tout out the front encouraging you to go to their restaurant - "Madam, would you like some fine curry this evening?" It was great. The curries over here are fantastic - much spicier than back home! They had the tv on in there, so everyone was watching England beat France in the rugby. I'd say it would be crazy here next week considering that England got through to the final. They will play South Africa or Argentina. With the huge SA population over here, an England v South Africa game would be great.
Oh yeah, in other news, we got an offer on some permanent digs this morning. We move at the end of the month.
