Going postal

Companies that are owned or partially owned by the government are the bane of my existence.

Royal Mail is currently striking, so they are asking people to please not mail anything. Are they serious? Things that would normally take 1 day to arrive are now taking 4 days. Don't they know it's my birthday soon?

The jerks who have a monopoly on the phone lines in Oz have also not disconnected our phone line or broadband in our old place, which we moved out of over a month ago. Of course they don't have a number you can call if you aren't in the country, because that would be too damn efficient. Fortunately I have Skype, so they will get the force of my wrath of Monday.

In other exciting news, I was contacted by an online news service because they want to use one of my photies! If you want to check out the article, it is about the Tube. My photo is one of the selection they have used. Just a dorky photo I took of an ad for a pet pharmacy when we were on the train last week. How cool is that!
