Kicking goals

Things are ticking along just nicely and seem to be falling into place. Got the following little tidbits of information over the last week:

Was chatting to PT Nick’s wife, Melissa. It turns out that her cousin runs his own IT recruitment firm in the UK. He used to work for one of the massive firms, but he and another consultant went off on their own and have started their own firm. Nick and Melissa said they would hook us up with him. Alright!

The saga has been solved. Pa worked as a boilermaker fireman for the SEC. So I guess the word ‘fireman’ is in there :)

Old Man is going to give me the email address of one of his cousins who lives in the UK. Apparently she is grouse and went out to the farm when she was in Australia a few years back.

One of the project managers at work is leaving. I have asked if he could provide a written reference for me, which he did. He said lovely things, so that’s another box ticked for stuff we need when we are over there.
