Across the Great Divide

Awesome that this has been announced. Two fantastic Aussie bands. Have seen Powderfinger before, so it will be good to see them again. Haven't seen Silverchair before, so that will be a new one.

I love both of their new albums. I think Silverchair's "Young Modern" has a real Beatles sound, so it immediately won me over. "Dream Days at the Hotel Existence" has some classic tunes by the Powderfinger guys.

They play Melbourne on Tuesday and we fly out 7am on the Friday morning. There seems to be quite a few friends who plan on going, so it will be great to catch up before we go.

Even though I did say Eskimo Joe would be my last concert for a long time, I knew I wouldn't be able to resist this when it was announced on Tuesday.
