Rollercoaster

Weekend of ups and downs. Mostly ups though.

The result I got on my exam perked me up no end, so ended up having a few bevvies with Cerebral, DJ Jovo and Tommo on Fri night. Nice place, in the Tabaret precinct of Bourke St, so we all didn't expect much. Lots of stuffed birds about (of the animal kind).

Took sis and bro-in-law to the airport for their move to Perth. Will probably not see them again before our move, which is sad - lots of online contact awaits.

Joined the throngs of kiddies lining up for HP7. Couldn't just take the book from the shelves, had to be handed it by a woman dressed as a witch. Lame. Anyway, stayed up til 3am to finish it. You won't find any spoilers here, my friends. I liked it, but thought the "19 Years Later" at the end was a bit naff. But I guess you had to find out somehow regarding who ended up with who. Lots of twists and turns, character backgrounds explained, violence and death.

Finally contacted the UK recruiters to let them know our visa had come through. All systems go. More evidence of my procrastinating.

59 days til we go tomorrow. It's getting so close...
