Never stops to amaze me

Now, I have seen everything.

Why bother? Next they will be bringing out Weight Watchers super double choc chip ice cream with chunks of chocolate cake in it.

Also, the lovely Hazel has memed me, so here we go:

8 things I am passionate about:

Nerdboy
Friends and family
Dancing
Discovering new things
Good quality, well thought out food
Travelling
Well designed applications and websites
Putting an end to ignorance and rudeness (I have no plans at the moment for how I would even achieve this goal)

8 things I want to do before I die:

See all continents
Get the courage to go in a small plane
Get a dog
Live a long and prosperous life with nerdboy
Learn another language (being able to ask for 'two stamps to Australia please' in French doesn't count)
Treat my body like a temple
Create fantastic memories
Tell my peeps I love them more often

8 things I say often:

"Really?"
"'n shit" - such as, "I need to go to the shops 'n shit" (classy, I know)
"Brilliant"
"What do they call it over here?" *
"Do you know where we are?"
"How do you get there?"
"A pint of cider, please"
"I'm buying that"

8 books I have read recently:

Great Britain Lonely Planet
The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom
Theft by Peter Carey
Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson
Atonement by Ian McEwan
Mister Pip by Lloyd Jones
A Fortunate Life by A.B. Facey
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

8 songs I could listen to over and over:

Stand by Me by Ben E. King
Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs
Changes by David Bowie
I Love Rock & Roll by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
Champagne Supernova by Oasis
Superstraight by Regurgitator
I Don't Feel Like Dancin' by Scissor Sisters
You're All I Have by Snow Patrol

- Having to only do 8 is very hard, there are a trillion more songs that should be on here.

8 things that attract me to my friends:

Make me wet myself laughing
Genuine
Love a good chat
Kind hearted
Open minded
Provide logic to nerdgirl sense of reality
Gorgeousness
Knowing how to keep it real

Others who should do this:

Utopiana
Redcap
Obsidian
No. 28

And any other of you fabulous non-blogging types. You can answer in the comments if you like :)

* Something that has to be asked often. I have learnt so far that:

A capsicum is a pepper
A doona is a duvet
An eggplant is an aubergine
A zucchini is a courgette
A pedestrian crossing is a pelican crossing
Kiddies sit on Santa's knee in "Santa's Grotto"
Snow peas are mange tout (as I am all class, I persist on calling it "mangy toot")
